If your AngryApp is having issues, please try the following common steps before submitting an issue:

  • Please use the latest version of the iPhone OS.
  • Make sure your volume is turned up.
  • Make sure you are not set on vibrate.
  • Make sure the mute switch has not been turned on – some apps continue to produce sound while mute is on, so don’t assume it’s not on.
  • Close and reopen the app.
  • Reboot (not just putting your device to sleep, but shutting it completely off and turning it back on).
  • Delete and reinstall the app.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  I purchased the Plus upgrade on one of my iOS devices.  Why are ads still showing on my other device?
A:  For privacy reasons, Apple does not automatically inform us when your account purchased an upgrade on another device.  To unlock the upgrade on your other devices (or to get your upgrade back if you have reinstalled the app), go to the Menu, to the Upgrade tab, and click the Restore button. This will prompt for your AppleID password, which verifies with Apple that you purchased the upgrade previously.  Once verified, the Plus upgrade will be unlocked on that device at no extra charge!  (Note, earlier versions of the apps did not have the Restore button – if the Restore button doesn’t show on your upgrade screen, update the app from the App Store first).

Q:  I downloaded a Free Angry of the Week on one device.  Why is it not showing up on my other device or after reinstalling?
A:  While you can continue to use any downloaded Free Angries after the offer time has expired for free on that device, they are only good while used on the device they were downloaded from, while they exist on the device (have not been deleted) and while that app is installed.  If you would like to be sure and have unlimited ongoing access to the Angries, we suggest purchasing our Plus upgrade.  It’s very inexpensive and gives access to all of our Angries.

Q:  My app is not responding or my downloads are stuck on pending, even after I close and reopen the app.  How do I get it to start working again?
A:  With most iOS apps, closing the app doesn’t actually close the app – it just puts the app in the background, and coming back from the background the app problem remains.  In that case, you actually need to kill the app in memory.  It’s easy!  First, click the Home button to exit the app.  Then, double-click the home button to bring up the App Switcher.  Press down and hold on an icon in the task switcher to make it go “wobbly” and have a (-) sign appear in the corner.  Tap the (-) sign to kill the app.  Now it has been shut down from memory.  Tap the home button again to go back to the home screen.  Now you can relaunch the app fresh.
